Learn how to make Lapshi a quick, easy & healthy Maharashtrian sweet recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Lapsi / Lapshi is prepared from broken wheat grains, ghee & sugar. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />3/4th Cup Ghee <br />1 Cup Lapshi <br />3 Cups Water <br />1 Cup Sugar <br />1/4th tsp Nutmeg Powder <br />Almonds, chopped <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In a pan heat some ghee. <br />- Add lapshi and mix well. Keep stirring till the grains change color. <br />- In a saucepan heat some water. Once the water starts boiling add it to the lapshi. Mix well. <br />- Cover it and let it cook. <br />- Then add sugar, chopped almonds and nutmeg powder. Mix well. <br />- Cover it for 5 minutes and let everything cook properly. <br />- Garnish it with chopped almonds. Lapshi is ready to be served.
